A healthier review program
Design for authenticity instead of engineering a perfect rating.
✓ Do
Ask genuine customers. Use neutral wording. Make the destination direct. Welcome honest experiences. Verify current platform rules.
× Avoid
Buying sentiment. Inventing reviews. Asking only likely promoters. Rewarding a required rating. Pressuring critics into silence.
Why this site exists
SMSReviews previously operated as an SMS customer-feedback software business. The business was shut down, and the domain later redirected elsewhere. We have repurposed it as a focused educational resource rather than restarting the software company.
Our editorial standards
- People first. Pages should answer a real operational question, not exist merely to capture a keyword.
- Primary sources first. For platform policy and U.S. review regulation, we prefer official Google and FTC guidance.
- No invented evidence. We do not fabricate case studies, conversion rates or “tests” we did not conduct.
- Neutral review requests. We favor systems that invite genuine feedback rather than manufacture positive sentiment.
- Clear commercial disclosures. If this site later uses affiliate links or paid partnerships, those relationships should be disclosed where they matter.
What we do not provide
This site does not provide legal advice, and SMSReviews is not currently an SMS review software service. Regulations and platform policies can change. Verify current requirements before implementing automated messaging or review solicitation.
Corrections
Guidance about reviews, messaging and platform policy evolves. When a primary source changes, our goal is to update the relevant guide rather than preserve outdated advice for the sake of an old publication date.
